간 나오토(菅直人) 총리가 이시하라 신타로(石原慎太郎) 도쿄 도지사에게 사죄했다.

22일 교도통신에 따르면 이시하라 지사는 21일 저녁 총리 관저에서 간 총리와 회담을 갖고, 도쿄전력 후쿠시마 제1원전에서의 방수와 관련 ‘도쿄소방청 대원이 장시간 계속 방수를 실시하지 않으면 처벌하겠다’고 한 정부 측 인사의 ‘폭언’에 항의했다. 이시하라 지사는 총리가 “사과한다. 대단히 미안하다˝는 말을 했다고 밝혔다.

회담 후 이시하라 지사는 기자단에 “소방대원들은 결사적으로 임하고 있다. ‘처벌’ 등의 말을 해서는 안된다˝고 강조했다. 처벌이라고 발언한 인물에 대해서는 “모른다˝고 했지만, 도정(都政) 관계자에 따르면 카이에다 반리(海江田万里) 경제산업상이었다고 한다. 카에다 장관은 총리를 본부장으로 하는 정부와 도쿄전력의 후쿠시마원전 사고대책통합연락본부에서 부본부장을 맡고 있다.
