[헤럴드경제] 지난 1일(현지시간) 만우절을 맞아 뉴욕 맨해튼에서 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령을 조롱하는 퍼레이드가 열렸다.

외신에 따르면 참가자들은 다양한 트럼프 가면을 쓰고 센트럴 파크 앞에서부터 트럼프 타워까지 행진했다. 이들은 트럼프의 대선구호였던 ‘미국을 다시 위대하게’를 풍자한 ‘러시아를 다시 위대하게(Make Russia Great Again)’를 외쳤다.

뉴욕에서는 만우절 맞이 퍼레이드가 열린 게 벌써 32년째지만, 올해는 트럼프 대통령을 풍자해 그 어느 때보다 주목을 받았다.

행사를 주최한 조이 스캐그스는 “만장일치로 트럼프가 올해의 바보왕으로 선발됐다”고 말했다.

행사를 도운 주디는 “올해는 정말 특별하다”면서 “백악관에 있는 멍청이에게 우리의 감정을 보여주기 위해 기회가 닿는 대로 무엇이든 해야 한다”고 강조했다.
