박지성(30ㆍ맨체스터 유나이티드)이 2011-2012시즌을 앞둔 첫 프리 시즌 경기에서 골을 터뜨렸다.

박지성은 13일(이하 현지시간) 미국 매사추세츠주 폭스보로의 질레트 스타디움에서 열린 맨체스터 유나이티드와 미국프로축구 뉴잉글랜드 레볼루션과의 친선 경기에 후반 교체 투입돼 팀의 네 번째 골을 기록했다.

맨유는 박지성과 혼자 두 골을 넣은 페데리코 마케다 등의 활약을 앞세워 4-1로 대승했다.

박지성은 팀이 3-1로 앞선 후반 30분 마이클 캐릭과 교체돼 그라운드에 나섰다. 후반 35분에 페널티 지역 안에서 라이언 긱스와 2대1 패스를 주고받은 뒤 달려나오는 상대 골키퍼의 키를 살짝 넘기는 재치있는 오른발 슛으로 쐐기골을 터뜨렸다.

전반을 0-0으로 마친 맨유는 후반 5분 마이클 오언이 선제골을，9분에는 마케다가 추가 골을 터뜨려 2-0으로 앞서갔다.

후반 12분 뉴잉글랜드의 케니 맨샐리에게 한 골을 허용한 맨유는 이후 후반 16분 마케다가 한 골을 더 넣었고 박지성의 득점까지 4-1 승리를 마무리했다.
