Samsung Biologics will throw its full weight behind contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) deal-making this month, attending a string of major global pharmaceutical and biotech events spanning Asia, Europe, the Americas and South Korea.

The company announced Thursday that it plans to participate in four exhibitions and conferences held in Japan, Italy, the United States and South Korea this month, using each platform to highlight its differentiated production capabilities and next-generation modality technology.

First up is Bio Japan 2026, Asia's largest pharmaceutical and biotech fair, running Wednesday through Friday in Yokohama, Japan — the company's fourth consecutive year at the event. Samsung Biologics will operate a dedicated booth, leading with its end-to-end services covering research, development and production, as well as the world's largest manufacturing capacity, as it pushes into the Japanese and Asia-Pacific markets.

On the opening day, Executive Vice President James Choi, head of sales support, will present on "integrated CDMO services responding to the evolving needs of pharmaceutical and biotech companies." Choi Yeon-jeong, a professional in the New Modality Group, will also unveil research findings on optimizing antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) conjugation processes using computational fluid dynamics.

In Europe, the company will attend CPHI Milan 2026, held Tuesday through Thursday in Milan, Italy. Samsung Biologics will set up a dedicated booth there to hold partnering meetings with prospective global clients and introduce its CMO competitiveness, global production network and next-generation multimodality technology.

The company then heads to San Diego for World ADC San Diego, running Oct. 12 through Oct. 15, where it will operate a booth alongside research presentations.

Mark Studer, head of the ADC and mRNA Operations team, will present on key success factors for ramping up ADC good manufacturing practice (GMP) production. Kim Ji-na, head of the ADC Platform Discovery Group, and Oh Se-gyu, a professional in the Organoid Technology Group, will each present poster sessions on bispecific ADCs and patient-derived organoids, respectively.

Back home, Samsung Biologics will participate in BioPlus-Interphex Korea 2026 (BIX), running Oct. 28 through Oct. 30 at COEX in Seoul, where Senior Vice President Lee Tae-hee of the Antibody Cell Purification Process Development team will present on bispecific and multispecific antibody development strategies.

Through this series of appearances, Samsung Biologics aims to cement its standing as a global top-tier biotech company, anchored by a three-pillar expansion strategy centered on production capacity, business portfolio and global presence. The company plans to broaden its touchpoints with global big pharma while demonstrating next-generation capabilities in ADCs and multispecific antibodies beyond its core antibody therapeutics business, positioning itself to secure new contracts ahead of the curve.
