SK Broadband is launching a new slate of regional entertainment programs this fall.

The company announced Monday it will roll out three new shows in sequence: "Trip in Korea" season 8, a food documentary series and a senior-focused variety program.

"Trip in Korea" season 8 is co-produced with Real TV and NBS Korea Agricultural Broadcasting. The show features foreign residents who have lived in Korea for several years serving as travel guides, introducing Korean hosts to domestic travel destinations currently drawing attention — all within a one-night, two-day format.

The series first aired in 2023 and has since produced 420 episodes through season 7, which broadcast in the first half of this year, making it a long-running local travel franchise.

Season 8 runs 30 minutes per episode for a total of 60 episodes. It airs weekdays at 4:30 p.m. starting Monday through Jan. 8, 2027, on ch B tv (cable channel 1 on B tv), Real TV and NBS Korea Agricultural Broadcasting.

The food documentary series, co-produced with Welike, carries the tagline "A table you must taste before it disappears." Food columnist Park Sang-hyeon travels to different regions to document the stories behind various meals and the lives of the people who prepare them.

The show runs 30 minutes per episode for 20 episodes total, airing every Monday from Oct. 26 through Dec. 28 — one episode at 5:30 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m., for two episodes per week. It broadcasts on ch B tv (cable channel 1 on B tv) and the Welike channel.

"Cheonchun School 2026," a senior brain-game variety show co-produced with Daekyo New if Plus, features comedian Jeong Seung-hwan alongside senior cast members in an audience-participation format. Built around a mystery theme, 10 senior contestants form an investigation squad, gathering clues to solve puzzles each episode. The show runs 30 minutes per episode for 16 episodes, airing every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m. from Nov. 4 through Dec. 24 on ch B tv (cable channel 1 on B tv) and the Daekyo New if Plus channel.

"The three new programs were each conceived around a distinct theme — a fresh perspective on travel, the value of life found in a single meal, and the challenges and memories of seniors," said Park In-seo, SK Broadband's head of cable broadcasting. "We plan to bring viewers the joy and empathy discovered in everyday life by telling the stories of regions and people in different ways."

Meanwhile, beyond the new titles, SK Broadband continues to offer locally tailored content, including "The Great Uncle: Birth of a Local Hero," a program that spotlights young CEOs who have settled in local communities and are creating new value there.
