Special pricing on 3 new products at Smart Store through Sept. 22

Global gum care toothpaste brand Parodontax is running a chuseok sale promotion on Naver Smart Store from Monday through Sept. 22.

The promotion features discounted pricing on three new gum care toothpastes the brand launched after upgrading its core formula for the first time in 10 years: the Daily Gum Care, Herb Fresh Gum Care and Cooling Mint Gum Care toothpastes. Shoppers will also find purchase-amount coupons and Naver Pay (N) point giveaways. The Gum Care line is formulated to remove plaque bacteria between teeth and gums four times more effectively and contains 1,400 ppm of high-concentration fluoride.

During the promotion, a six-pack set of Gum Care products will be sold at 25,900 won ($19), roughly 42 percent off the regular price. Shoppers spending 20,000 won or more can apply a 10 percent discount coupon worth up to 5,000 won, while those spending 60,000 won or more can use a 30 percent coupon capped at 20,000 won — bringing the total discount to as much as about 56 percent off the regular price.

A "Parodontax Top Buyer" contest will also run alongside the sale, rewarding the highest cumulative spenders. First place (one winner) receives 300,000 won in N points, second place (two winners) receives 200,000 won each, and third place (three winners) receives 100,000 won each. Twenty consolation-prize winners will each receive 30,000 won in N points.

One-day flash sales paired with Naver Shopping Live streams are scheduled for Monday and Sept. 14. On those days, three sets of six 100-gram tubes will be sold at 45,990 won, about 65 percent off the regular price. During the Shopping Live broadcast from 10 a.m. to noon, customers spending 120,000 won or more can redeem a special coupon for 50 percent off up to 60,000 won, bringing the maximum discount to about 73 percent off the regular price.

Customers who participate in the live broadcast purchase verification event will be entered into a draw: 30 winners per showing will receive 5,000 won in N points, and 10 winners will receive a three-piece Parodontax Gum Care product set (one of each).

"We prepared this promotion for chuseok so customers can give the gift of everyday gum health to family and loved ones," a Parodontax official said. "We hope people will take advantage of the generous discounts and giveaways to try our upgraded new products and build a consistent habit of gum care."
