MBC will broadcast the League of Legends Champions Korea finals live for the second consecutive year.

The broadcaster announced Monday it will air the 2026 LCK finals live, starting at 1:50 p.m. Sunday at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul. MBC made history last year as the first terrestrial broadcaster to carry the LCK finals live in South Korea.

A full commentary team will be on hand to capture the crowning of South Korea's top League of Legends team. Caster Seong Seung-heon returns alongside analysts Jeong No-cheol, known as "Nope," and Ko Su-jin, known as "Kkokogat," while former professional players Lee Seo-haeng ("Kuro") and Eom Seong-hyeon ("Umti") will staff the analysis desk. Announcer Bae Hye-ji joins the team for the first time to cover the atmosphere at the venue.

Alongside the specialist commentary team, MBC said it will air graphics and video segments explaining key gaming terms and in-game situations in plain language, so viewers unfamiliar with LCK can follow the finals without difficulty.

"Last year's terrestrial broadcast of the LCK finals showed us that not only existing fans but also first-time viewers could enjoy the matches together," an MBC sports department official said. "This year, we are preparing a broadcast that maintains the expertise and on-site atmosphere that LCK fans expect, while also making it easy and fun for newcomers to follow along."

MBC also announced Monday it had signed a two-year deal with LCK to broadcast the 2026 and 2027 finals live. The agreement means MBC will air the LCK finals on terrestrial television for three consecutive years — last year, this year and next year.
