K-pop group Enhypen expressed an overwhelmed, almost disbelieving joy Wednesday after topping the Billboard 200, the main US album chart, for the first time. "The feeling is something else," the group said through its agency, Belift Lab.

The milestone came with their eighth mini-album, "THE SIN : BLISS," which reached No. 1 on the latest Billboard 200 — six years after the group's debut.

Enhypen became the sixth K-pop boy group to top the chart, following BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and Tomorrow X Together. Combined with No. 1 runs by girl groups BLACKPINK, NewJeans, TWICE and KATSEYE, as well as the animated soundtrack KPop Demon Hunters, the feat marks the 11th time a Korean artist or K-pop-related album has reached the top spot.

"We will hold this moment close, but we won't rest on it — we'll work hard to show you even better music and performances," the group said. "Above all, we are deeply grateful to our Engene fans for their strong support."

The album's title track "Bloody Paradise" landed at No. 23 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, a Billboard chart that ranks the top 25 songs that have not yet broken into the main Hot 100 singles chart.
