Information on 1,091 parcels visualized on Smart Seoul Map and district mapping service
Gwangjin-gu announced Tuesday that it has launched a "neighborhood standard land thematic map" service, giving residents easy online access to information on 1,091 standard land parcels within the district.
Standard land parcels are plots that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport surveys, assesses and publicly announces each year, serving as the key benchmark local governments use to calculate individual officially assessed land prices.
Through the project, the district visualized data on all 1,091 standard land parcels on the Smart Seoul Map and the Gwangjin integrated mapping service. The thematic map lets users view key real estate information for each parcel at a glance, including land characteristics, land price change rates, a list of individual parcels to which each standard land applies, and appraisal verification opinions from licensed appraisers.
Previously, residents who wanted to check which standard land parcel was used to calculate their individual officially assessed land price had to contact the district office directly. The new map service lets residents look up that information online themselves, improving administrative convenience.
Alongside this, the district operates a dedicated support desk to help residents file objections to officially assessed real estate prices and protect their rights.
"We will continue to improve a range of smart administrative services so that residents can access the real estate information they need more conveniently," Gwangjin-gu District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said.
