National Pension Service accepting submissions through Oct. 1

The National Pension Service announced Tuesday it will accept public submissions through Oct. 1 as part of a campaign to gather ideas on budget savings and revenue increases, aimed at improving the transparency and efficiency of its budget management.

Anyone interested in pension fund operations can participate by submitting ideas on cost reduction or revenue growth through the National Pension Service website.

The service will evaluate submissions based on feasibility and potential impact, with results announced on its website in November. Winners will receive Onnuri gift vouchers as prizes.

"Every opinion from the public is a force that raises the transparency and efficiency of the national pension budget to a higher level," National Pension Service Chairman Kim Sung-joo said. "We ask for your attention and participation so that fresh budget-saving ideas the public can directly feel are brought to light."
