Two new locations in Gangdong and Dongdaemun open simultaneously
Seoul network grows to three sites including existing Gangnam center
Electric SUV 7X on display with purchase consultations available
Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand of China's Geely Automobile Group, is expanding its sales presence into eastern and northeastern Seoul. The brand has added showrooms in Gangdong and Dongdaemun alongside its existing Gangnam location, stepping up customer outreach ahead of the domestic launch of its electric SUV, the 7X.
GK Mobility, Zeekr's official dealer in South Korea, said Tuesday it simultaneously opened the Zeekr Gangdong Space and the Zeekr Dongdaemun Space.
The Gangdong Space is located inside Gangdong iPark The Rivermall in Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu. The site had been operating as a temporary showroom since July and has now been converted into a permanent one. It will offer vehicle displays and purchase consultations, with customer events planned for the future.
The Dongdaemun Space has opened in Yongdap-dong, Seongdong-gu, and is intended to improve access for customers in Dongdaemun and the broader northeastern Seoul area who want to see Zeekr vehicles in person.
With the two new sites, GK Mobility now operates a three-point sales network in Seoul spanning Gangnam, Gangdong and Dongdaemun. In the Honam region, the company also runs a Zeekr house and service center in Gwangju.
Both new showrooms will display the 7X, a midsize electric SUV Zeekr is bringing to the Korean market. Visitors can inspect the vehicle and speak with sales consultants about the car and purchasing options.
Zeekr has been rapidly expanding its offline presence ahead of the imminent domestic launch. A 7X pop-up store held at Starfield Hanam from Aug. 21 to 25 drew about 11,000 visitors over five days, with roughly 1,500 taking part in hands-on experience programs. The 7X comes in three trims — Pro, Max and Ultra — priced at 52.99 million won ($38,600), 59.99 million won and 69.99 million won, respectively.
"By opening the Zeekr Gangdong Space and Dongdaemun Space at the same time, we have laid the groundwork for more customers in Seoul to experience Zeekr up close," a GK Mobility official said. "We will operate both spaces not merely as venues for displaying and selling vehicles, but as customer touchpoints that convey Zeekr's innovative technology and premium brand experience."
GK Mobility currently operates the Gangnam center and service center, the Gangdong Space, and the Gwangju house and service center. Following the opening of the Dongdaemun Space, the company plans to continue holding pop-up stores and customer events.
