BigBang's Daesung has announced he will personally address dating rumors linking him to Kara member Heo Young-ji.

On Thursday, Daesung posted a short-form video titled "I'll reveal everything" on his YouTube channel "Jipdaesung."

In the clip, Daesung brought up the rumors and expressed disbelief that his agency had issued an official statement without consulting him first. "After the dating rumors broke, I went on a portal site and saw that an official statement from my agency had been posted," he said. "Normally, if it's an official statement, shouldn't they tell me first? No one even told me they had denied it on my behalf."

Daesung pulled up photos of himself and Heo Young-ji attending a concert together and walked viewers through what had happened that day.

The rumors surfaced June 21 after photos spread online showing Daesung and Heo Young-ji sitting side by side in the audience at a Mamamoo concert at Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park.

Adding to the speculation, an old clip resurfaced in which Daesung, during one of Heo Young-ji's appearances on "Jipdaesung," had said, "Taeyang told me to get along well with Young-ji. I guess he thought we had great chemistry." The remark drew renewed attention online.

However, Daesung's agency RND Company moved quickly to shut down the rumors on June 22, saying Heo Young-ji was "simply a close colleague." Oh My Girl's Hyojung was also reportedly at the concert that day.

Daesung's full account of the dating rumors will be released on "Jipdaesung" at 6 p.m. Friday.
