The employee welfare program at singer Jang Yoon-jung's company is drawing wide attention.

A video titled "First reveal: Jang Yoon-jung's agency dinner and welfare vlog" was posted Thursday on the YouTube channel "Jang Gong-jang Jang Yoon-jung."

In the video, Jang said she had come to the Apgujeong neighborhood "as a welfare treat for the staff" and took her employees to an omakase restaurant run by chef Yun Nam-no, who rose to fame through the cooking competition show "Black and White Chef."

Over the meal, she told her staff, "It's been seven months since I started the company — about half a year with all of you. This is a chance to treat you to something delicious as part of our company welfare, so enjoy yourselves today."

"We can't eat expensive, high-end food all the time, but on a day like today, think of it as buying the atmosphere," she said with a smile.

After the meal, Jang said she wanted the people who work with her to be happy and would make a point of sharing a good meal with them regularly. She added that she would also arrange vitamin D shots for everyone, noting how important vitamins are to staying healthy.

The group then visited a clinic, where they all received vitamin D injections. Jang told staff, "I'll keep looking after you going forward."

Last year, Jang announced she had founded a talent agency. Through her YouTube channel, she explained her reasons for the new venture — she had been preparing for quite some time and had wanted to nurture younger artists she believed in. The remarks drew considerable public attention.
