Giselle of girl group Aespa — whose members are Karina, Winter, Giselle and Ningning — has revealed that her ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) sometimes prevents her from feeling hungry.
During a recent live session on her social media, Giselle fielded a fan question about how she had lost so much weight. "Honestly, it's something you bring up a lot when you talk about my appearance," she said. "To be straightforward, I've gradually lost 10 kilograms over seven years."
She went on to say it was a natural process. "Everyone gains and loses weight at different points in their life, and I'm no different," she said. "As some of you may know, I have ADHD tendencies, and because of that, I sometimes don't feel hungry."
Giselle added that she is now working to gain weight in a healthy way. "It's because I genuinely don't have enough energy," she said.
Asked how she feels about people judging her appearance, Giselle said she finds the level of attention hard to understand. "It's a little strange to me that people are that interested in how I look," she said.
Meanwhile, Aespa released their second full-length album "Lemonade" at 1 p.m. on May 29. The 11-track record includes the title track "Lemonade" alongside "WDA (Whole Different Animal)," "Switchblade," "SHAKIN," "Bite" and "Roll," among others.
