Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will take the mound at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on Sunday, the third day of his visit to South Korea.
Industry sources said Huang is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Doosan Bears home game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Huang is expected to wear a Doosan uniform bearing the number 93, representing the year Nvidia was founded.
Doosan Group Chairman Park Jung-won, who owns the Doosan Bears, is expected to step into the batter's box for the ceremonial first swing, wearing a uniform with the number 96 — the year Doosan was founded.
Doosan has long been cited as a potential partner for Nvidia in areas including robotics. Industry observers say the joint appearance at the ceremonial pitch and swing will serve as a public signal of both companies' willingness to deepen cooperation.
Huang is also scheduled to meet with executives from major South Korean game companies on Sunday. He is expected to sit down with NCsoft CEO Kim Taek-jin and other NCsoft officials to discuss collaboration in areas including AI game development, digital humans, simulation and physical AI.
Huang is known to take a particularly strong interest in the gaming industry. NCsoft has maintained a working relationship with Nvidia in the gaming space — most recently when it showcased "Aion 2" and "Cinder City" at the Nvidia GeForce Gamer Festival held in Seoul during Huang's previous visit to South Korea in October last year. Huang is also expected to hold a separate meeting with Krafton Chairman Chang Byung-gyu and other company executives.
Key topics on the agenda are expected to include humanoid robots and physical AI, as well as gaming collaborations built on Nvidia's AI computing platform.
On Monday, Huang is scheduled to visit Seoul National University's AI Institute and robotics laboratory, followed by calls at LG Group, Hyundai Motor Group and Naver's Seongnam office.
A closed-door meeting with executives from major domestic AI startups — including Upstage and Nota — as well as robotics startups such as Realworld and Airobot is also on the schedule.
Huang is expected to depart South Korea on Monday evening or Tuesday morning after completing all scheduled engagements.
