Actor and influencer Lee Hae-in, who owns a building worth 4 billion won (about $2.65 million), has spoken about the challenges of managing the property and revealed she recently earned a fire safety management certification. She had previously discussed difficulties with vacant units.

Lee shared the update Monday on her YouTube channel "Easy Space," saying she has come to feel that running a building is harder than buying one. She said she passed the Level 3 fire safety management exam as part of her efforts to keep costs down.

"I took the exam right after three days of classes and passed," she said. She added that she chose to get certified herself rather than hire a manager, which would have cost hundreds of thousands of won each month.

Lee attended classes daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and sat the exam on the final day, passing on her first attempt. The video showed her studying and taking the test, and she also displayed the certificate issued under the name of the fire commissioner.

"I'll keep taking on various missions to protect the building," she said. "Please keep watching to see what comes next."

Lee purchased the building in February using roughly 3.2 billion won in loans. Shortly after the acquisition, she disclosed that six units were vacant and that she was paying 12 million won a month in interest.

She later said she had reduced the number of vacant units to four, vowing to fill them all.

On May 25, she said, "There was a time when I was struggling with 12 million won in monthly interest, but as I filled the units one by one, it came down to 6 million, then 3 million — and now I'm only covering about 1 million won a month."

Lee had said the vacancy situation that had weighed heavily on her had improved somewhat. On May 14, she posted on Instagram that vacancies had decreased and her monthly interest burden had dropped to 3 million won.
