A new exhibition has opened where children can send postcards of encouragement and learn about consideration and communication through hands-on experiences.

Seoul Sangsangnara, the Seoul Metropolitan Government's children's museum, has overhauled its permanent exhibition space for the first time in eight years and launched a new permanent show titled "Everyday Warmth," the museum said Sunday. The interactive exhibition centers on the theme of "warm interactions," designed to let children directly experience the positive changes that kind words and actions can bring to those around them.

Children can exchange praise, encouragement, consideration and goodwill not only with family and friends but also with strangers they meet at the venue, discovering the joy of communication, the museum said.

A highlight of the exhibition is the Asian premiere of "Archiplitz," a textile sculpture by French artist Juliette Bertron — often described as "soft Lego."

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, closed every Monday. Admission is 4,000 won for children 36 months and older and for adults. Holders of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Dadungi Happy Card are admitted free of charge.
