Woni, a member of girl group RESCENE, has explained why she left the stage mid-performance.

On Saturday, RESCENE performed at the opening ceremony of the APEC Summit Memorial Hall at Gyeongju EXPO Grand Park in North Gyeongsang Province.

During the event, Woni was seen repeatedly adjusting her outfit after finishing the "Love Attack" stage. Woni then suddenly stepped off the stage during the subsequent "Runway" performance, with the other members covering her parts to keep the show going. Woni rejoined after fixing the costume and completed the rest of the set.

After the performance, Woni addressed the situation through a fan communication platform, saying she had taken the stage in an outfit that had shrunk in the wash and stepped away briefly after experiencing difficulty breathing.

"Since I was going to Gyeongju today, I thought I wouldn't be able to wear the outfit for more than a few hours, so I said I wouldn't put it on until I got there. I should have tried it on and checked it myself," Woni said. "But in the meantime, someone had sent the outfit to be washed and it shrank a lot. So when we all arrived, I changed into it and realized it had shrunk, but I couldn't just perform in my own clothes, so I decided to go ahead with it anyway — and then I couldn't breathe. I was really shocked." Woni also reassured fans that she is now doing fine.

Meanwhile, RESCENE is set to release its fourth mini album "PULSE" on Tuesday and continue comeback activities.
