Freesia (real name Song Ji-a), a YouTuber and influencer known from Netflix's "Single's Inferno," has announced plans for strong legal action against malicious rumors circulating online.

Kinda Entertainment, her agency, issued an official statement Thursday saying it had reviewed content about its creator Freesia that is "being indiscriminately spread online" and declared the claims "entirely false and clearly without basis."

The agency said spreading unverified falsehoods and repackaging malicious rumors "constitutes a clear violation of the law that seriously damages the character and reputation of our artist."

It added that it is "continuously monitoring online communities and social media to protect our artist" and will pursue "strong legal measures, including criminal complaints and reports, without any leniency or settlement" against anyone who spreads unverified false information or posts and distributes malicious content.

Meanwhile, Freesia rose to prominence after appearing on the Netflix original reality show "Single's Inferno" in 2021.
