New location on the first below-ground floor of Lotte's Nowon branch targets customers in northern Seoul
Samjin Eomuk, a leading South Korean fish cake brand, opened a new store Tuesday on the first below-ground floor of Lotte Department Store's Nowon branch in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The new location sits at a major commercial and transit hub centered on Nowon Station, positioning the brand to draw shoppers from the densely residential neighborhoods of Sanggye and Junggye as well as customers from across northern Seoul, the company said.
The store is organized around Samjin Eomuk's signature products, with an emphasis on space efficiency. Its main offerings are snack-style hot deli fish cakes and warm fish cake soup, with ready-to-eat items highlighted for shoppers looking for a quick bite. The lineup is designed to serve everyday meal needs for nearby residents as well as snack and gift purchases by shoppers in their 20s to 40s.
"We will continue to expand our customer touchpoints so that people can encounter and enjoy Samjin Eomuk more conveniently in their daily lives," said Lee Yu-han, head of Samjin Eomuk's store business division.
