BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle division of BMW, announced Thursday that it will unveil the BMW M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT Limited Edition — produced in a worldwide run of just 115 units — for the first time in Korea at "BMW Motorrad Days 2026," to be held Saturday at the BMW Driving Center on Yeongjongdo, Incheon. The model will be on special display for that one day only.

The BMW M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT Limited Edition was created to mark the 115th running of the Isle of Man TT, one of the world's premier motorcycle road races, in 2026. Exactly 115 units have been produced worldwide to reflect that milestone, with only two allocated to Korea, giving the model exceptional rarity.

The event will be the first opportunity for Korean enthusiasts to see the model in person. BMW Motorrad plans to showcase the limited edition's distinctive design and racing heritage at the "BMW Motorrad Days 2026" venue.

The M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT Limited Edition is powered by a high-revving inline four-cylinder engine producing a maximum output of 218 horsepower and a top speed of 314 kilometers per hour. It comes equipped with the circuit-focused M Competition Package and features exclusive design elements and special specifications that pay tribute to the Isle of Man TT's legacy.

Several elements underscore the model's limited-edition status. The triple clamp — the component connecting the upper front suspension to the handlebar mount — is engraved with a unique serial number identifying each motorcycle's place among the 115 produced worldwide. Each buyer also receives an official BMW Motorrad certificate of authenticity, confirming the motorcycle's genuineness and its standing as a limited-edition model.

BMW Motorrad plans to sell one of the two Korea-allocated units through a lottery. Purchase reservations will open Dec. 2 on the BMW Motorrad Shop online, and the winner selected through the draw will be announced Dec. 8.

The Isle of Man TT is a motorcycle road race held on the Isle of Man, located between Britain and Ireland, that has been run since 1907. Unlike conventional circuit racing, it takes place on closed public roads and mountain sections, and is widely regarded as one of the most grueling motorcycle competitions in the world, demanding precise riding technique and extreme concentration.

BMW Motorrad swept all three classes in the 1000cc category in 2022 and has continued to claim victories every year through 2025.

Meanwhile, BMW Motorrad has been actively expanding its product lineup to broaden choices for Korean consumers, having launched the premium adventure motorcycle BMW New F 450 GS in Korea last month.
