Singer Seo In-young broke down in tears while touring a luxury villa in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, overcome with regret over years of reckless drinking and spending.

A video of Seo visiting a real estate property with her production crew was posted Wednesday to her YouTube channel "Gaegwacheoonseon Seo In-young."

Seo and the crew visited Achiulmaeul in Guri, a residential enclave that has drawn attention for being home to numerous celebrities, including actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, as well as Han So-hee and Nana.

The luxury villa she toured featured a privacy-focused layout and upscale interior. A real estate agent explained that each floor houses two units with separate entrances, and that the basement includes a screen golf facility and a noraebang.

After exploring the rooms and the terrace, Seo repeatedly marveled at the property. "I don't want to go home — I want to live here," she said. "It's been a long time since I've seen a place this nice."

The asking price, however, was 4.65 billion won ($3.5 million), with basic maintenance fees alone reaching 1.4 million won a month.

"My standards have gotten too high because of the PD," Seo said, expressing disappointment. "Even if I pushed myself, this is way too much of a stretch." She then consoled herself, adding, "I want to live here so badly, but I don't think it's time yet."

She then grew emotional. "I shouldn't have lived the way I did. I regret everything. I feel like I'm going to cry," she said — and ultimately did.

When the production crew tried to comfort her by saying she could get there if she worked hard, Seo replied, "I just have so many regrets. I wasted 10 years and all my money, and it makes me so frustrated," lamenting her past spending habits.

Seo recalled her days living in Yeoksam-dong, saying the jeonse on her place there was 900 million won at the time. "I had no intention of buying back then. If I had been thinking straight, I wouldn't have lived like that," she said. "If I had just drunk less — when I was drunk, I'd hand out cash. Giving away money when I was drunk was a habit of mine."

"Why did I live like that? Where did all that money go?" she said, adding, "It would have been better if I had at least helped people in need, but I didn't even do that. I feel like I really didn't live like a decent person."

Still, Seo expressed determination. "I just need to work harder. Living here isn't the only measure of success, but it gives me a goal," she said.
