Flight connections improve access to South Gyeongsang Province
Round-trip Gimpo-Sacheon airfare included as standard
Limited to 25 adults on a first-come, first-served basis
A new overnight travel package connecting Gimpo and Sacheon by air has been launched, offering a one-night, two-day itinerary along South Korea's southern coast. The package bundles flights, accommodation and meals at roughly 50 percent off the standard price, improving access to South Gyeongsang Province.
Regional air mobility carrier Seom Air announced the launch of its "Seom Air Hadong-Namhae Local Travel" package.
Released as part of the South Gyeongsang Province Tourism Foundation's Local Tour Lab project, an earlier edition of the package sold out within two hours of going on sale in October.
The itinerary runs from Nov. 7 to Nov. 8, taking participants to nine attractions across Hadong and Namhae. On the first day, travelers will join a traditional tea master for a wild-tea tasting at a Hadong tea garden, then visit Ssanggyesa temple, Hwagae Market and the "Seomjingang Dalmajung" moonrise-watching program. The second day features guided visits with a local docent to Namhae's Yi Sun-sin Sea Park, Darangyi Village, Seori Skywalk and Boriam temple.
The per-person fee is 190,000 won ($143), about 50 percent below the standard price after a subsidy from the South Gyeongsang Province Tourism Foundation, and includes round-trip Gimpo-Sacheon airfare. Reservations can be made through the Naver page of the Hadong Nollua Cooperative, with spots capped at 25 adults on a first-come, first-served basis.
The "South Coast Local Travel" series is designed by the Hadong Nollua Cooperative, a group of regional specialists, and operates under the Local Tour Lab project run by South Gyeongsang Province and the South Gyeongsang Province Tourism Foundation.
