Modutour and Tourism Australia team up for curated promotion

Small-group exclusive packages departing from four people

Itineraries tailored to Australia's spring and summer season

A new lineup of high-end Australia travel products targeting premium travelers has launched ahead of the country's spring and summer peak season, featuring small-group exclusive itineraries covering Sydney's city center and the rugged interior landscapes around Uluru.

Modutour said it has partnered with Tourism Australia to launch a premium promotion called "Modu Premium Australia."

Built around the small-group exclusive "Modu Exclusive" series and the high-end "High Class" brand, the promotion is designed for groups of as few as four to six people. All products exclude shopping stops, gratuities and optional add-ons, instead combining stays at four-star or higher hotels with visits to major attractions and generous free time. Reflecting Australia's seasonal calendar — spring from October through to summer in December — the itineraries are organized by theme and cover Sydney's city center, the Blue Mountains, and the central wilderness of Uluru, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta National Park.

The flagship product, a seven-day Sydney premium package, runs exclusively for groups of six to nine people under the Modu Exclusive label. Guests stay at a hotel in central Sydney and visit the Sydney Opera House on an interior tour, the Blue Mountains, Featherdale Wildlife Park and Bondi Beach. Two of the seven days are set aside as free time.

The High Class product "Sydney in 7 Days — City Sunshine, Nature at Leisure" departs with six or more travelers on Asiana Airlines flights. It includes stays at a five-star hotel and at Taronga Zoo, along with tickets to an Opera House performance, access to the Bondi Icebergs pool and spa, and a Captain Cook Penfolds dinner cruise.

Another High Class product, an eight-day "Australia Uluru + Sydney" itinerary, departs with a minimum of four travelers on Korean Air flights. In addition to Sydney's city center, the package takes guests to a five-star hotel near Uluru, sunrise and sunset viewings, and excursions through Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta National Park.

Jo Jin-ha, head of Tourism Australia Korea, said attracting high-value travelers is a core strategic priority. "We plan to actively support Modutour's quality Australia travel products across multiple fronts so they can continue to thrive," he said.

Jang Hong-seok, head of product planning at Modutour, said long-haul travel has been shifting away from simple sightseeing toward itineraries that emphasize a relaxed pace, service quality and differentiated experiences available only on location. "This promotion is centered on small-group exclusive travel and high-end products timed to Australia's travel season," he said. "We will continue to raise both the range and the quality of premium travel options, drawing on Modutour's product planning expertise and on-the-ground operational know-how."
