Photos of actor Go Youn-jung from her college days before her debut are making the rounds again online.
A promotional poster she modeled for during her time at Seoul Women's University has been spreading across online communities and social media, drawing fresh attention.
The poster was made to advertise a festival pub run by the university's College of Fine Arts, with Go serving as the model. In the image, she gazes into the camera with long straight hair, resting her chin in one hand.
An account from a fellow alumna has also circulated alongside the photos. The user wrote that her department ran a pub at the college festival and used a photo of Go — then an underclassman — as the poster. "Every seat was taken, of course, and so many friends who came to visit kept asking who she was," she recalled.
She added that even the poster failed to do Go justice. "When she made her debut and appeared on TV, I thought she looked worse on screen than in person," she wrote. "Her face was beautiful, but she was also genuinely warm and friendly."
Go, born in 1996, majored in contemporary art at Seoul Women's University. She first gained public attention as a cover model for the campus magazine "Daehak Naeil" before launching her acting career in 2019 with the tvN drama series "He Is Psychometric." She has since appeared in the Netflix series "The School Nurse Files" and "Sweet Home," JTBC's "Law School," tvN's "Alchemy of Souls," Disney+'s "Moving," and tvN's "Resident Playbook."
