Shinhan Bank is offering customers a 10,000-won ($7) discount on orders from Dongdaemun Yeobgi Tteokbokki placed through the Ddaenggyeoyo online food delivery platform using the SOL Trip&Shop debit card.

The bank announced Friday that the promotion will run for seven days, from Monday through Oct. 25. Customers who order at least 14,000 won worth of tteokbokki on Ddaenggyeoyo and pay with the SOL Trip&Shop debit card will receive the 10,000-won discount. The offer ends early once available quantities are exhausted.

The event follows a similar Yeobgi Tteokbokki partnership promotion in April that ended ahead of schedule due to strong customer response. The campaign is designed to boost card spending by linking card benefits with the online food delivery platform while drawing new users to Ddaenggyeoyo.

The SOL Trip&Shop debit card expands the lineup of the travel-focused SOL Travel debit card. With no annual fee, it rewards up to 2.5 percent of overseas online purchases as My Shinhan Points, depending on the previous month's spending. Customers who book through Hotels.com via the overseas online shopping cashback platform My Select Shop can also receive an 11 percent cashback.

Cumulative issuance of Shinhan Bank's SOL Travel and Trip series debit cards has surpassed 3.6 million. The balance of the linked SOL Travel foreign currency deposit product has also exceeded $500 million.

"We prepared this event to thank customers for the support they showed during the April promotion, offering discounts on everyday menu items people enjoy," a Shinhan Bank official said. "We will continue to expand benefits across travel, shopping and everyday lifestyle through partnerships that reflect our customers' spending needs."
