13th consecutive appearance; company discusses regional and channel expansion with major duty-free operators
Amorepacific announced Friday that it had participated in the 2026 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, France, to strengthen its global duty-free partnerships.
The TFWA World Exhibition is the world's largest duty-free business event, organized by the Tax Free World Association. Amorepacific has attended every year since 2012, making this its 13th consecutive appearance.
At this year's exhibition, Amorepacific showcased key products and brand stories centered on Laneige and Sulwhasoo. The company also highlighted the competitiveness of its broader brand portfolio, which spans makeup and derma beauty labels including Hera and Aestura.
During the event, Amorepacific held business meetings with major global duty-free retailers and partners. Discussions focused particularly on the potential for expanding into new markets and distribution channels, as well as avenues for deeper collaboration with existing partners.
Building on those talks, Amorepacific plans to expand Laneige's global duty-free business while continuing to identify opportunities for Hera and Aestura to enter new markets.
Amorepacific currently operates in more than 230 duty-free shops across 52 airports in 33 countries. Last year, led by Laneige, it entered the duty-free markets of 10 European countries, including France, the United Kingdom and Germany. This year, the company extended its presence to the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Poland. It is now targeting Latin American markets, including Mexico, for future entry.
"We will continue to work closely with our key partners so that more global travelers can experience Amorepacific's brands in a wider range of destinations," said Park Du-bae, executive director of Amorepacific's Travel Retail division.
