Korea Mizuno will hold a free custom fitting service event at its Mizuno Performance Center Seoul in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, from Monday through Oct. 7.
During the event, golfers can receive complimentary iron and driver custom fitting and swing analysis from professional fitters. Anyone looking to check whether their current clubs suit them, or seeking the right head and shaft combination ahead of a club upgrade, can participate by making a reservation in advance.
Mizuno's proprietary Shaft Optimizer 3D measures a range of data generated during the swing to analyze a golfer's "swing DNA," using the results to identify the optimal shaft and lie angle. The system evaluates each shaft's individual characteristics independently rather than relying solely on the labeled flex or brand.
The Mizuno Performance Center Seoul also uses a foot weight balance measurement system and a premium InBody system to examine not only the swing but also physical condition, weight transfer and footwork. This allows fitters to assess a golfer's swing mechanics and ball-flight tendencies, and to fine-tune club settings such as weight, shaft stiffness, loft and shaft length.
"Finding the right setup to match a golfer's swing characteristics and physical condition is essential to getting the most out of a club's performance," a Mizuno Golf official said. "We hope golfers who have wondered whether their clubs are truly suited to them will use this free fitting service to experience, through data and expert analysis, what the right club feels like."
