Jecheon plant among 15 large-company workplaces selected by Labor Ministry

Factory shares business updates with staff, runs labor-management and safety panels

Daelim Bath's Jecheon factory has been named one of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 2026 Outstanding Labor-Management Culture companies.

The ministry selects companies and public institutions that have put cooperative labor-management relations into practice under the annual program. This year's 41 honorees are divided into 14 small and medium-sized enterprises, 15 large companies and 12 public-sector organizations.

Among the large-company honorees alongside the Jecheon factory are Kyobo Life, Dong-A Pharmaceutical's Cheonan factory, DHL Korea, S&T Motiv, SK Trikem, Ecopro, LG Innotek, Wonik QnC and Haesung DS.

The Jecheon factory said it was recognized for improving its labor-management practices and expanding workers' participation in management decisions and on-site communication.

"This recognition reflects the efforts our members have made together to transform the workplace, built on mutual trust between labor and management," said Plant Manager Kim Hyeong-geun of Daelim Bath's Jecheon factory. "We will continue to listen to voices from the floor, broaden employee participation and maintain open dialogue with the local community to build an organizational culture rooted in shared growth."
