Applications open through Sept. 18; 35 firms to be selected
Paju is accepting applications from companies wishing to participate in the 2026 Paju Job Fair, scheduled for Oct. 22 at Geumchon Multipurpose Indoor Gymnasium.
Participating companies will receive a dedicated on-site interview space free of charge and will be able to conduct one-on-one job interviews with applicants on the day of the event. Recruitment information — including job categories and working conditions — will also be promoted through event publicity materials and on-site job information boards.
The Paju Job Center will identify and connect job seekers who match each company's hiring requirements in advance. Paju will also collaborate with related agencies — including the Women's Re-employment Center, the Middle-Aged Tomorrow Center and the Veterans Support Center — to draw a broad range of applicants, including youth, women, middle-aged workers and veterans. The initiative is designed to give participating companies the opportunity to meet a wide pool of talent in one place and convert those meetings into actual hires.
Companies wishing to participate must submit an application form, a job posting request and a copy of their business registration certificate to the Paju Job Center by Sept. 18. The city will review each applicant's job categories, number of positions and working conditions before selecting 35 companies for on-site participation.
Companies not selected for on-site participation, or that find it difficult to attend on the day, will be offered online recruitment services to expand their hiring opportunities.
Yun Eun-ju, head of the People's Economy Division, said she hopes the fair will give hiring companies a chance to meet the talent they need directly, while giving job seekers access to recruitment information and interview opportunities from a wide range of employers in one place. "We ask for the active interest and participation of companies looking to hire," she added.
