Conrad Seoul announced Tuesday that General Manager Samuel Peter has been promoted to Hilton's Korea regional head, a role he will hold concurrently with his position at Conrad Seoul, giving him oversight of the company's full hotel portfolio in the country.

Peter's expanded role builds on the leadership and operational expertise he developed at Conrad Seoul.

A Swiss national with more than two decades in the hospitality industry, Peter has managed hotels in Japan, Singapore and Thailand. His career highlights include overseeing the opening of Hilton Hiroshima, coordinating operations for the G7 summit, and managing the Rugby World Cup and Formula 1 Grand Prix at Hilton properties in Tokyo and Singapore.

In his new regional role, Peter will work alongside hotel leaders across South Korea to support operations and growth at each property while strengthening collaboration and synergies among the brands.

"I will respect the unique strengths of each hotel and brand while sharing expertise and experience across properties to create synergies that allow us to grow together," Peter said. "I will do my utmost to deliver Hilton's distinctive hospitality to our customers and to sustain continued growth in the Korean market."
