Tapestry Collection by Hilton makes Vietnam debut
174-room resort sits along Hoi An's Co Co River
Four dining venues include Korean-style open-grill restaurant
Hilton announced Monday the opening of the Nan Resort & Spa Hoi An, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in the central Vietnamese city of Hoi An — marking the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand's first entry into Vietnam.
The resort sits 3.5 kilometers from the heart of Hoi An and about an hour from Da Nang International Airport. It features 174 rooms designed as open, nature-integrated spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows and locally sourced stone and timber. Rooms offer garden and river views and private balconies, and the property includes 19 connecting rooms.
The resort has four dining venues. Keng Restaurant is an all-day dining outlet serving Vietnamese and international cuisine, while Plate Restaurant specializes in Korean-style open-grill seafood. The property also features Bong Lounge, whose interiors draw on the craftsmanship of Kim Bong village — a woodworking community with a 500-year tradition — and Nipa Pool Bar, a poolside bar.
Guests can take part in traditional cultural programs including pottery wheel, woodworking and lantern-making workshops. A 200-square-meter banquet hall accommodating up to 148 people is also available for events.
Alexander Shockley, Hilton's head of lifestyle and collection brands for Asia Pacific, said the Nan Resort & Spa Hoi An brings together architectural design, locally rooted dining and immersive programs that guide guests through the surrounding area. "Through this entry into Vietnam, we've captured the spirit of Hoi An in a fresh and authentic way," he said.
To mark the opening, the resort is offering guests who stay three or more nights through Dec. 15 a bonus of 5,000 Hilton Honors points and a 2 p.m. late checkout.
