Binance on Monday unveiled Binance Agent OS, an integrated platform designed to connect external AI agents with its financial infrastructure.

Agent OS functions as a gateway platform that allows external AI agents to access Binance systems and tap into market data and other resources. The company plans to expand the platform's reach to cover payments and on-chain services.

The platform adopts the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that enables compatibility with AI tools including ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and Claude Code. Users can connect to the system by adding the Binance MCP server to their AI agent and completing authentication and permission setup.

Binance is also launching the Binance Skills Hub for developers, allowing them to integrate features such as Web3 wallet tracking and decentralized finance (DeFi) functions into AI agents without building separate integration frameworks from scratch.

Because AI agents can directly execute financial functions, Binance has built in controls that let users limit what each agent can do. Users can configure the accessible features, permissions and fund limits for each agent individually and disconnect any agent at any time. A kill switch that blocks all agents simultaneously is also included.

Binance views the Agent OS launch as the first step in its expansion of AI-driven financial services. Research firm Gartner projects that the share of enterprise software applications incorporating agentic AI will grow from less than 1 percent in 2024 to 33 percent by 2028.

"AI is shifting from a tool that informs financial decisions to one that connects directly with real services to carry out tasks," a Binance official said. "Starting with Agent OS, we will expand the experience of linking AI with financial services."

Meanwhile, Binance will host Binance Blockchain Week 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, from Nov. 28 to Nov. 29. The event's theme is "Evolution," and it will cover trends including the role of DeFi, real-world asset tokenization (RWA) and stablecoins.
