The Korea Employment Labor Education Institute and the Korea Banking Institute will jointly develop an integrated curriculum covering both labor and finance.

The Korea Employment Labor Education Institute announced Thursday that it signed an MOU with the Korea Banking Institute to strengthen cooperation in labor and financial education and enhance the educational capabilities of both institutions. Under the agreement, the two organizations will share curricula, content, expert instructors and facilities to jointly respond to changes in the labor and financial environment.

Under the MOU, the two institutions will pursue joint development and operation of new labor- and finance-related curricula, mutual recommendations of experts and coordination of guest lectures, reciprocal provision of online education content and its upload to each other's platforms, and shared use of education facilities.

The two institutions plan to identify new integrated curricula covering both labor and finance by linking the specialized programs and human and material resources each organization holds. They will also jointly develop content tailored to the needs of learners and the field. The institutions intend to expand expert exchanges and guest lecture cooperation, and upload each other's online content to the partner institution's platform to improve education access and utilization.

"As the labor environment and the financial industry are changing rapidly, the importance of integrated education that allows people to understand both labor and finance together is also growing," said Lee Jong-seon, president of the Korea Employment Labor Education Institute. "We will expand cooperation to develop effective curricula that combine the expertise of both institutions and provide quality education to more people."

Lee Jun-su, president of the Korea Banking Institute, said the two organizations would "combine financial education expertise and labor education capabilities to provide the public with more practical and beneficial educational opportunities."
