Uiseong-gun in North Gyeongsang Province will hold the 2026 Uiseong Youth Water Festival for nine days through Saturday at the Wicheon ecological stream in Angye-myeon, below Gucheon Bridge, the county announced Friday.
The festival is organized by the West Uiseong Junior Chamber of Commerce. Water play facilities will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the event.
Separate pools for infants and toddlers will be set up, with safety personnel on duty at all times.
A special event is planned for the final day of the festival on Saturday.
The water play area will remain open until 7 p.m. that day, followed by a water gun battle with EDM music featuring DJ Robin, offering visitors a different kind of entertainment.
"We will support the Uiseong Youth Water Festival so it can establish itself as a signature summer event representing Uiseong," county chief Choi Yu-cheol said. "Above all, we will ensure thorough safety management — including deploying safety personnel and inspecting facilities — so that both residents and visitors can enjoy the festival with peace of mind."
