Renault Korea participated in "Bastille Day 2026," an event marking the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and France, held Tuesday at Sebitseom in Seoul and organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Korea (FKCCI).

The event brought together prominent figures from home and abroad, including Renault Korea President Nicolas Paris, French Ambassador to Korea Philippe Bertoux and FKCCI Chairman David-Pierre Jalicon, who gathered to mark the 140th anniversary of Korea-France ties.

Renault Korea has served as a major sponsor of Bastille Day for several years, leading cultural exchange between the two countries as a French brand. At this year's event, the company showcased its global flagship crossover, the Filante, and offered a range of interactive programs to give visitors a distinctive brand and vehicle experience.

Visitors could take part in a mobile quiz via QR code, through which Renault shared information about its brand and vehicles in an accessible and engaging format. Participants received commemorative gifts including a Renault reusable bag. A lucky draw also drew strong interest, with a one-month test drive of the Filante offered as the prize, giving attendees the chance to experience the model firsthand.

In addition, Renault Korea operated a brand consultation zone and held a separate lucky draw at an official luncheon hosted the same day by the French Embassy in Korea at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, sharing the brand's values and vehicle lineup with attendees.

Meanwhile, Renault Korea has been broadening its customer touchpoints through a series of events. Last month, the automaker set up a large exhibition booth at NextRise 2026, Asia's largest technology and startup event held at COEX in Seoul, where it unveiled its future mobility innovation strategy.
