Seohan Co. announced Monday it had earned the top rating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 2026 mutual cooperation assessment for construction companies, and also took the top prize in the 2026 Work-Life Balance Management Excellence competition organized by the Daegu city government.

The mutual cooperation assessment is a system the ministry conducts annually to evaluate collaborative performance between general and specialty contractors, as well as between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises. Its aim is to foster a fair construction industry ecosystem and drive sector-wide development.

Assessment criteria include joint-contract performance, subcontracting compliance rates and support for partner firms. Companies scoring 95 points or above receive the top "excellent" rating.

Seohan is the only construction company in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province large-enterprise category — and across the broader Gyeongsang region — to receive the top rating this year.

Alongside this recognition, Seohan took the Daegu mayor's top prize in the city's 2026 Work-Life Balance Management Excellence competition.

The company earned high marks for a range of welfare programs supporting employees' work-life balance, including assistance for workers stationed at remote job sites, childbirth incentives and childcare subsidies, guaranteed family leisure time, and expanded health screenings.
