A track by K-pop group CORTIS has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify just nine months after its release.
According to the group's agency Big Hit Music, "GO!," a B-side from CORTIS's first mini-album released last September, crossed 200 million cumulative plays on Spotify — the world's largest music streaming platform — as of June 26. The milestone came roughly nine months after the song's official release. CORTIS consists of members Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon and Geonho.
The track reached 100 million streams in early January, 116 days after its release, then added another 100 million plays in just five months. The feat is not only a personal best for the group but also an achievement unmatched by any K-pop boy group that debuted in the past five years.
"GO!" drew attention from the moment it dropped. British music outlets NME and Dazed, along with Apple Music and Spotify, named it one of the best K-pop tracks of 2025. It ranked second on Billboard staff's list of the 25 best K-pop songs of 2025.
About six months after its release, the song entered Billboard's Pop Airplay chart and stayed on it for 14 consecutive weeks. Buoyed by that momentum, cumulative streams across all tracks on the debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" surpassed 600 million as of June 23. Another B-side, "FaSHioN," has also accumulated 183.5 million streams and is closing in on the 200 million mark.
CORTIS's second mini-album title track "REDRED," released last month, ranked 105th on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart announced Saturday, marking nine consecutive weeks on the chart. The song has held the top spot on the domestic Weekly Top Songs chart for eight straight weeks. "REDRED" also surpassed 100 million streams just 57 days after its release — the fastest such milestone among boy groups that debuted within the past five years.
