Chilgok-gun in North Gyeongsang Province held its second job fair of 2026 on June 23 at the third-floor auditorium of the Waegwan-eup office, bringing together local businesses and job seekers.

Organized by the county and run by the Chilgok-gun Employment Support Center, the event drew 10 companies, which conducted on-site interviews and recruitment consultations.

About 100 job seekers visited the venue that day, of whom 84 took part in on-site interviews.

As a result, 13 people were hired, contributing to local employment.

Particularly notable was the first-time participation of Coupang Inc's fulfillment service unit, Hansol Agricultural Cooperative, and Daesin Enterprise's Chilgok (Seoul) rest stop, which broadened the range of job opportunities available to attendees.

The addition of new companies diversified the fields of recruitment on offer, creating a practical platform where employers and job seekers could meet directly.

"The job fair is a meaningful event that connects companies with talented workers and job seekers with quality employment," Chilgok-gun County Governor Kim Jae-wook said. "We will continue to push forward with tailored recruitment events to expand employment opportunities for residents and invigorate the local job market."
