E-mart will hold a "PL Brand Festa" from Thursday through July 1, bringing together popular products from its private-label brands Peacock, No Brand and 5K Price.

The event was designed to ease the burden on customers' grocery bills. At Peacock, E-mart's premium ready-meal brand, customers can receive up to 20% off summer health foods and popular meal kits — including 'nokdu samgyetang' (mung bean ginseng chicken soup) and 'neungi baeksuk' (pine mushroom whole chicken stew) — when accumulating Shinsegae points.

No Brand, E-mart's value-focused private label, will also expand stock of its popular products. The brand's fried whole chicken wings, which have surpassed cumulative sales of 40,000 units, will be available for 8,880 won. Developed in collaboration with Binggrae, the 'No Brand X Binggrae Strawberry & Mango Ice Bar' and 'No Brand X Binggrae Café au Lait' will be priced at 4,580 won and 1,280 won, respectively. Also featured are the No Brand unsweetened Greek yogurt and the No Brand single-row sandwich.

Ultra-low-price brand 5K Price will offer 29 new products alongside its bestsellers — including tofu, milk and frozen thinly sliced pork neck — at record-high stock volumes. 5K Price has introduced more than 360 products since its launch in August last year, surpassing cumulative sales of about 30 million units. The brand will also run a lucky-draw event for customers, with prizes including an LG Objet 2-in-1 air conditioner, an Aquafield admission ticket and e-money worth 10,000 points.

"We plan to continue expanding our differentiated private-label product lineup, drawing on our product planning capabilities and purchasing competitiveness," said Jeong Woo-jin, E-mart's marketing manager.
