Seven consecutive wins in tire comprehensive service category
"We will continue to strengthen our differentiated services"
Nexen Tire announced Thursday that it has won the grand prize in the tire comprehensive service category at the 2026 National Service Awards for the seventh consecutive year.
The National Service Awards, administered by the Industrial Research Institute (IPS) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, recognizes outstanding companies and brands chosen by consumers for their differentiated service value. Nexen Tire earned the honor for the seventh straight year on the strength of high customer satisfaction ratings for its tire rental service "Nextlevel" and recognition of its value as a first-of-its-kind offering.
Nextlevel is the first tire rental service introduced in the South Korean market. The program allows customers to spread the upfront cost of tire replacement into monthly installments and maximizes discount benefits when combined with affiliated credit cards — an approach credited with dramatically lowering the barrier to entry for premium tires.
Beyond diversifying purchase options, Nexen Tire has also significantly expanded its after-sales services. These include a premium damage warranty covering free replacement even in cases of consumer fault, and a Nextlevel Check Service providing periodic care at more than 800 stores nationwide.
The company has also moved to maximize customer convenience. Through an integrated online and offline ordering system, free delivery and installation at rental specialty stores, and a delivery notification service, Nexen Tire offers uniform, professional service at a single price anywhere in the country.
Nextlevel has surpassed cumulative rental sales of 2.5 million tires and maintains an average customer satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5.
"Winning the National Service Award for seven consecutive years is the result of precisely meeting the needs of customers who want to use premium tires without financial burden," a Nexen Tire official said. "We will continue to strengthen our customer-centered, differentiated services going forward."
Meanwhile, Nexen Tire last August became the first company in the domestic tire industry to build a high-performance, high-dynamic driving simulator to enhance product technology competitiveness. The simulator, which has received cumulative investment of 40 billion won ($26 million), combines high-performance hardware and software to evaluate vehicle dynamics and tire response in real time indoors.
