Rumors that Blackpink member Lisa and Frederic Arnault — CEO of TAG Heuer and the fourth son of LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault — have broken up have resurfaced.

Vanity Fair published a summer cover story Monday (local time) titled "The Life of a K-Pop Showgirl," reporting that Lisa and Arnault "now appear to have parted ways."

The magazine said it received two warnings from Lisa's publicist before the interview, asking that questions about her romantic life be avoided.

The main evidence cited for the breakup is Arnault's absence from Lisa's 29th birthday party, held in Bali in March. His absence fueled speculation among fans that the two had separated.

Rumors of a relationship first emerged in July 2023, when the two were spotted together at a restaurant in Paris. Neither side ever publicly confirmed or denied the relationship, but the pair were widely accepted as a couple after Lisa was seen traveling with the Arnault family.

Frederic Arnault was recently promoted to CEO of LVMH's watches division.

In the interview, Lisa said, "Sometimes it feels like too much. And sometimes I just want to live normally."

She added, "Since I opened up about not having any privacy, fans seem to respect that a lot more."

The story also recounted incidents in which fans showed up outside her home or tried to get into taxis with her. Some in her fandom have taken Lisa's remarks as an indirect confirmation of the breakup.
