Areumdaun Environment Construction Co. said it held a plogging campaign along Geumseokcheon stream in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, on June 5.

The campaign marked the completion of the company's Anseong Geumseokcheon 2 Ecological Stream Restoration Project and served as an opportunity to assess the usability of the restored waterway.

Employees of Areumdaun Environment Construction and Anseong city officials walked along the stream's trails and surrounding areas to collect litter and clean up the riverbanks and green spaces.

The Geumseokcheon area was transformed through the ecological restoration project, which created waterside walking paths, green spaces, stepping-stone crossings and rest areas. Participants toured the refurbished trails and ecological zones, checked on conditions and joined in the cleanup effort.

"The completion of the Geumseokcheon ecological stream restoration project gave our employees a chance to take part in local environmental cleanup activities," a company official said. "We plan to continue expanding our environmental conservation and community outreach efforts in partnership with local communities."

Meanwhile, Areumdaun Environment Construction specializes in environmental restoration and water quality improvement. Through the plogging campaign, the company reaffirmed its commitment to ESG management and plans to continue expanding community-based conservation activities.
