Seoul's Eunpyeong-gu is holding the "Eunpyeong Heart-Fluttering Walking Road: Moderate-Intensity Healthy Walking Course Contest" to discover outstanding walking routes across the district, district mayor Kim Mi-kyung's office announced.

The contest aims to uncover and share resident-recommended walking routes to promote a culture of regular walking.

Submissions open June 17 and run through July 12. Eunpyeong-gu residents and people who work within the district are eligible to participate. Interested participants can submit their recommended routes or walking courses via Naver Form.

The 31 participants whose courses are selected as top entries will each receive a mobile gift voucher. The winning routes will also be incorporated into future neighborhood-level walking programs.

Results will be announced after July 27 through the KakaoTalk channel "Eunpyeong-gu Health Center Exercise Lifestyle," and winners will be notified individually. Further details are available in the channel's news section, and inquiries can be submitted via one-on-one chat.

"I hope the diverse walking routes recommended by residents will inspire more neighbors to embrace a healthier lifestyle," district mayor Kim said. "We will continue working to create walking-friendly environments and spread a culture of walking throughout the district."
