The Construction Mutual Aid Association is pursuing a company-wide business transformation powered by AI technology.

The association announced Friday that it is actively building the "CG-AX (AI Transformation) Business Innovation Platform," designed to advance AI capabilities and integrate them into internal processes in stages.

Security and data accuracy are the association's top priorities in adopting AI. Because the organization handles sensitive customer financial data, it chose an on-premise architecture as its core infrastructure to block the risk of external data leaks and maintain a high degree of control.

The platform also adopts a hybrid approach that flexibly connects external cloud models to prevent AI "hallucination" — the tendency of AI systems to generate inaccurate or fabricated information.

The association plans to apply AI optical character recognition (AI OCR) technology to the guarantee application and review process, automating complex document submission and data entry to deliver a fast, convenient one-stop service for customers.

The association is also building an AI chatbot to help employees quickly fulfill their duties, along with an AI-based document management system for efficiently searching and converting the organization's large volume of internal documents into reusable assets. It is simultaneously pursuing the introduction of an "AI Guarantee Review Assistant" to improve the accuracy of underwriting work.

To help employees adapt smoothly, the association is also organizing AI-related education programs, an AI agent competition, support for obtaining relevant certifications, and forums.

"Once the system is complete, it will evolve into an innovative financial platform that satisfies both customers and employees," an association official said.

Meanwhile, the association held its "2026 AX Forum" on June 1 to drive business innovation and strengthen its competitive edge through the AI transformation initiative.
