Brand joins French Embassy-organized exhibition as official sponsor
Hyungji Global Castelbajac announced Friday that it participated as an official sponsor of the "French Art de Vivre Exhibition 2026," held to commemorate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and France.
The event, organized by the French Embassy in Korea at the French ambassador's residence in Seoul on June 10 and 11, was attended by Kwon Yun-tae, Castelbajac's general director, who delivered congratulatory remarks. Other French heritage brands joined the exhibition, including Baccarat, the world-renowned crystal luxury label, and Bernardaud, a porcelain brand with 160 years of history.
Castelbajac is a French-origin artist brand that Hyungji acquired and continues to develop. In April, the company unveiled the Castelbajac archive to mark French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to South Korea, and in May it held a free archive exhibition at the Textile Center.
"Castelbajac is an original brand born from one of France's most celebrated designers and has long conveyed the values of French culture and art," a Hyungji Global official said. "We will continue working to expand cultural exchange between the two countries."
