Aerospace company SpaceX set its initial public offering price at $135 per share on Thursday, confirming the preliminary price it had previously announced, Reuters reported.

While companies preparing to go public typically offer a preliminary price range, SpaceX unusually locked in a single figure of $135 per share from the outset. At that price, the company will sell 555.56 million shares to raise $75 billion (about 113.8 trillion won), surpassing Saudi Aramco's record $29.4 billion raise in 2019 to become the largest initial public offering in history.

Based on the offering price, SpaceX's market value would reach $1.77 trillion, placing it among the top 10 publicly listed companies in the world.

Elon Musk, the company's founder and CEO, is its largest shareholder and will hold 84 percent of voting rights after the IPO through dual-class shares and other mechanisms. Valor Equity Partners is the second-largest shareholder, with SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell and Chief Financial Officer Bret Johnsen also among the major shareholders.

SpaceX is set to list on the Nasdaq and Nasdaq Texas on Friday.
