Open API-based AI trading service

South Korean crypto exchange Bithumb has made it possible to check digital asset prices and place conditional orders using plain-language commands — no coding required.
Bithumb announced Thursday the launch of AI Trade Kit, a service that lets users trade digital assets through conversations with generative AI. The service connects generative AI platforms — including Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini — to Bithumb's open API, allowing users to execute trading functions through conversational commands. Building automated trading programs previously required development expertise, but AI Trade Kit lets users set up automated trading bots simply by chatting with an AI. Bithumb said the service helps users respond more easily to the digital asset market, which operates around the clock.
AI Trade Kit is currently available on PC, with mobile support to follow at a later date. Users can access the service through the product introduction page on Bithumb's PC website after completing a linking process.
"This service was designed so that ordinary investors without specialized knowledge can use generative AI for everything from checking market prices to running automated trades," a Bithumb official said. "We will continue to expand a trading environment that prioritizes convenience and stability."
Meanwhile, Bithumb is also integrating AI agents into its internal operations. After establishing a dedicated AI platform team late last year, the company has been rolling out customized AI agents across key business functions, including internal data collection and analysis, software development and compliance.
