The 14th Korea Future Management Awards ceremony was held Wednesday at the National Press Club on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The Korea Future Management Awards were established to identify and recognize companies, institutions, individuals and brands that contribute to industrial development through their competitiveness across various fields.
Herald Media Group organized the event, with News & Magazine Power Korea — publisher of the bilingual monthly Power Korea — serving as administrator. It followed roughly two months of open applications and judging.
Announcer Jo Hye-jin hosted the ceremony, which featured a performance by musician Lee Seung-jae as well as celebratory performances by violinist Jeon Ji-kyung, soprano Park Ji-eun and tenor Yang Seung-ho.
A total of 36 companies, institutions, individuals and brands received awards this year, including Jaeneung University, the Korea Organ and Tissue Donation Agency, GS Retail, Chungho Nice, Nami Island Education and Culture Group, MK Underwater Industrial Development Co., System Tech Co., certified public accountant Lee Jae-ho of Korea Tax Accounting Office, Cheoninzi Oriental Medicine Clinic, Lee Kang-min, a professor in the Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering at Catholic University of Korea, One Page Finance School, and the Korea Tarot Reading Education Association and Lexi Tarot.
The organizers said the recipients were selected for their expertise and competitiveness across a wide range of industries.
