Uljin-gun in North Gyeongsang Province will hold the 15th Uljin Arts Festival from Thursday through Sunday at Yeonho Park and the Yeonho Cultural Center, aiming to promote local arts and culture and expand residents' access to cultural experiences.

The Uljin chapter of the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations is organizing the festival as a celebration of creative work by local artists alongside community participation.

A range of performance programs will take place at Yeonho Park throughout the event, while exhibitions will be held at the Yeonho Cultural Center. Stages will feature performances by the Korean Traditional Music Association, the Music Association and the Entertainment Artists Association, as well as a club festival and celebratory performances.

On Saturday, the 2nd Uljin Music Competition will be held, with participants competing across categories including piano, orchestral instruments and contemporary music.

"We hope the Uljin Arts Festival will serve as a stage for local artists to showcase their creative work, and as an opportunity for residents to enjoy high-quality arts and culture up close," an official from the Uljin Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations said.
